Hola! Bienvenidos! Hello, welcome to Spanish 2 and Spanish 3 class! I am Teresa Rios and have been teaching Spanish for about 18 years. I enjoy teaching and teaching Spanish. My parents were always teaching me about my Mexican heritage and I found this so fascinating that I thought, "why not share this knowledge". But I too, had to learn to speak my language correctly and learn more about other countries and their cultures. Now I am privileged to pass my knowledge and, together with my students, also expand that knowledge.

My goals that I have set for my students are to present the language within the context of the Spanish-speaking world and its culture. I want to help students realize that the Hispanic culture that exists in Texas affects our lives in many ways and to realize the similiares and differences of the culture in the Hispanic world. Students also will be able to reach a profiency level of listening, speaking, writing, and reading of Spanish.
