Welcome to world geography at Grape Creek High School.

In this class, we will be taking a trip around the world, starting with our own campus, community, state and country, and expanding our minds to reach around the globe. Along the way we will learn some things that all six billion of us have in common, as well as some of the ways in which each of us is a unique individual.

Skills learned in geography prepare students for future history classes. But more than that, those skills exercise the brain and combine with the knowledge and skills learned in other classes to turn our students into well-informed, well-rounded and capable young people who can make a place for themselves in whatever corner of the world they choose as their home.

In addition to geography, we will learn history, government, economics, language, science, and maybe even a little math. We will learn to question, and to find the answers. Students who can make the most of geography can learn to make the most of their lives. So bring your imagination with you, and let's get started.
